This has been going through my head for a couple of weeks now , as some of you know i went up to visit the folks just after Christmas, and as sometimes happens Mum pulled out photos to look through, and, lo and behold there was a photo of me in my twenties, looking pretty damn good, and yet i can remember thinking about myself back then that i was fat and overweight.

So just remember, oh nonexistent reader. just because you may feel fat and ugly or think you look fat and ugly , chances are you’re not and in fifteen years when you are looking at photos of yourself now , you may very well think you look damn good.

There has been a lot of debate all over the place recently about the issue of Gay Marriage. So, I thought i’d throw my five cents into the jar on the subject.

Wikipedia’s first paragraph on the subject of marriage states Here:

Marriage is a social union or legal contract between people that creates kinship. It is an institution in which interpersonal relationships, usually intimate and sexual, are acknowledged in a variety of ways, depending on the culture or subculture in which it is found. Such a union, often formalized via a wedding ceremony, may also be called matrimony.

When I was younger And I’d asked my mother and father what marriage was i was told that marriage is what two people who love each other and want to spend the rest of their lives together do.

Where in either of the above two definitions does it mention either gender or sexual preference?

The heart wants what the heart wants, and no amount of nay saying or (in my opinion) Bigoted and homophobic shouting from the rooftops is going to change that
